    Crane Hire

    We offer a crane hire and rigging service for all types of structural steel projects within South Australia. Our team have the expertise to assess & prepare methodologies for any lifts to ensure works are performed in the most efficient & safe manner possible.

  • Green Building icon

    Steel Fabrication

    We are well equipped with a 2500m2 workshop located in Edinburgh, enabling us to fabricate up to 50 tonne of steel weekly when required. Our workshop consists of an overhead crane, onsite franna crane, forklift, scissor lift and welders. We have a dedicated workshop supervisor ensuring all works performed are done in accordance with OHS practices.

  • Drafting & Design

    We have an in-house drafting & design team ensuring quick turnaround of shop drawings. We also have a strong working relationship with external drafting & design companies for any overflow of work.

  • Onsite Welding

    We offer an onsite welding service and welcome a collaborative approach to projects when additional labour is required to get a project completed. Our experienced site teams are qualified and equipped with the necessary tools. Onsite welding works include general welding (steel erection, cleats and repairs), welding of precast plates, maintenance or damage repairs.

  • Sand Blast & Painting

    We have a dedicated sand blasting & painting facility within our workshop. Our services including galvanising, painting and fireproofing. All works performed are in strict accordance with the Australian Quality Assurance standards.

  • Metalwork

    We offer a metalwork service including design, fabrication and installation of handrails, balustrades, perforated mesh, commercial metalwork, stairs and platforms. Our experience in the commercial building and mining sector has seen us work on a variety of complex projects.

About Us

SA Steel Fabrications is lead by Billy Akl, who has 20+ years of experience in the construction industry. Starting out as a boilermaker and progressing his way through various roles, including leading hand, supervisor and project manager.

Billy has been working in and around the South Australian market spanning 20+ years & founded SA Steel Fabrications in 2022, on the back of his experience. SA Steel Fabrications are accredited and a licensed Master Builders SA contractor.

At SA Steel Fabrications, our business slogan is ‘working hand in hand’ with our clients to ensure project deadlines are met and quality is delivered each time. We pride ourselves on honesty & integrity and as a result have established good working relationships within the industry.
